Mike was honorably discharged from the United States Coast Guard, where he graduated from the (FLETC) Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and served as a Maritime Law Enforcement Specialist.
Liberty Is Thinking
The meaning of Liberty is Thinking came to me at 4:30 one morning. The only thing that I could think about were the words that meant so much to me and how they also affect others. I want the image and meaning to have a grand effect on the way people express themselves.
My website is NOT political but a freedom of expression. I want to encourage people to explore their minds and show the world all of the interesting things that they can come up with. Feel free to sign and send me some of your creations so that I may post them on my site for others to see. Please make sure to sign everything as it is yours. In this world there are still a lot of slaves. Not slaves to someone else but slaves to ourselves, our minds and society. As a human being, we are afraid to express our creativity. We are slaves to the train of thought and routine that we do throughout everyday life. We are afraid to change that routine or thought, not expressing ourselves. Deep down inside of all of us we have a dream. A dream that we wish would come true. It can be a design; a thought, an expression, a hope or dream that we are afraid to pursue, fearing that we will fail.
The sight of the Statue of Liberty in the thinking position represents all of those thoughts. The sight of her expresses the fact that we can pursue our dreams. We can all believe in ourselves. If you can dream about it, then you can make that thought come true. Don’t hold your thoughts to yourself. Expand upon them by freeing your mind of all of those restraints that are holding you back from what you want to achieve.
Liberty means Freedom. We as people, in this world, should express our freedom. We do have restraints upon us that are affected by society. But these restraints shouldn’t stop us from expressing ourselves with thought. Thought is the one thing that society and the world can’t take from us! So, express your Liberty! Think!
